Yet again I’ve been slack on here, which while I’m disappointed in myself for that I really can’t say I’m surprised. This time of year is crazy for pretty much everyone, and working full time in retail (which unfortunately is the situation I’m in) is absolutely awful right now. Anyway, all my excuses aside I took these photos last weekend and I’m only just now getting around to writing this post to go with them.
Lately I’ve really been into super simple outfits like these, and thought maybe that this was deserving of it’s own post. The pieces I’m wearing are definitely all current favourites, and I’ve been wearing them so often in many different ways, and I know I’ve spoken about all of them before on here.
My Poppy Lissiman Shark Tooth bag is still my favourite accessory lately, and has been since the moment I got it. I mean I wrote a whole post dedicated to it, so I think it’s obvious how much I love it. Poppy Lissiman is absolutely one of my current favourite brands, and I’m so excited to see what she’s going to be coming out with in the future (however I don’t think my bank account will be because you know I’ll be buying so much of it).
This singlet was one of the most basic but by far one of my best purchases in recent months, I have worn it to death. If you haven’t got one of these style tops, I whole heartedly recommend that you do. Mine was from Factorie so it was seriously cheap, and I will wear it with pretty much anything and everything.
Again, these shorts are super simple and basic but they’re such a staple in my wardrobe. I know they’re not long shorts, but for me they’re a decent length considering how tiny most shorts look on my long legs. I got them on sale so they’re not available anymore, but they were from Universal Store. I feel like a pair of cut off denim shorts is something everyone should have at least one pair of in their wardrobe.
Lastly, my ugly dad sneakers which I absolutely love but I know so many people also hate. These are just one of those styles which really divides people, but there’s no denying how big the chunky dad sneaker trend has been over the last year. Mine are the Puma Thunder Spectras, but I must say I have my eye on some of the new colour ways of the Adidas Falcons too, so those might be a new pair coming into my collection.
