This past week has been pretty busy for me, and I felt like I didn’t have any time to myself just to relax. Last night I got to sleep in my own bed for the first time in a week and honestly it felt so good. As I’m writing this I do have to admit I’d love to be napping, but it’s currently too late in the evening for me to have a nap and then be able to sleep properly, so I thought I might as well try and make use of this time, the first time in a week I’ve actually had time to write on here.
Last week I spent 2 nights up at Batemans Bay for work, and then when I came back I spent a night with my boyfriend and then I left Canberra again. Me and 2 of my best friends went up to Sydney for the long weekend and stayed with another friend of ours. It was so much fun but we really didn’t end up sleeping much at all over the 2 nights we spent there, so I think I’m in need of catching up on some sleep. (I took a bunch of film photos so I’m sure I’ll go into a lot more detail on what I actually got up to lately in a post with all of them)
Anyway, the whole point of all this is really to say that because I’ve been a bit all over the place I’ve wanted to be comfortable more than anything else for a vast majority of the time. I’m not going to lie, these photos were taken probably around 2 weeks ago and I’m relating them to this subject matter, so while pretty much everything I’m wearing in these photos I really have been wearing a bunch however, it’s been way too hot for the jumper.
The bike shorts though, I have worn almost everyday this week (at least at some point during the day). I bought them quite a while ago now, at least a few months back, and they have gotten so much wear that I think I need to invest in another pair that aren’t quite as see through. I’ve spoken about these sooo much so I won’t go on about them again (but they’re so good). I’ve also been living in cropped basic tops lately, not specifically just this one, but a whole variety. I live for a printed vintage cropped t shirt, and Lost Vintage in Braddon has such a good little selection of them (this top isn’t from them, but I did buy one recently which I’m obsessed with).
Is this the most stylish thing I’ve ever worn? absolutely not, but I think it’s actually kinda cute considering just how comfy it is. And of course, my little bag does make it look a little more put together. I bought this off one of those vintage instagram accounts, and it’s a vintage faux (I mean I’m almost 100% sure it’s fake) Fendi baguette bag made with a cow hide type material. I don’t use this nearly as much as my Poppy Lissiman shark tooth bag, but I love it so much and I think it makes these boring outfits look soooo much cuter.
